I'm very passionate about recycling and have piles of papers that I don't need dating back to my first college years. I finally gone down to business and had the time to clear everything out during my make up fasting days. There's much more where that came from.
Of course before sending them off to be recycled you have to take out all the staples and other recyclable materials. I took them out religiously !

I need a big roomy gym bag...any suggestions? I'm a germaphobe and I keep everything in little plastic boxes so nothing gets wet or dirty....I know....I'm weird....I can't help it.
So any ideas for a really girly, classy, chic gym bag??

The other day I was at the Avenues and I really had to go to the bathroom. As I mentioned up there, I'm a germaphobe....I have issues....I will not touch anything....I use toilet paper for every little thing I'm going to touch. I go into a bathroom and there is an empty waste bin, I leave and the waste bin is full.....so much for my environmentally friendly practices above. Anyway, this is all besides the point.
As I was washing my hands at the sink, I noticed the cleaning lady was putting in new toilet rolls, but she had the fresh new rolls on the dirty floor !!! I almost fainted.....I waited for her to finish and told her in the nicest way possible, using the most gentle tone of voice I could muster that she shouldnt do that cuz the floor was dirty and that people could get sick if she did that. Of course she didnt understand me, she kept repeating "Blangladesh". While I was talking to her, there were 3 other Philipino ladies there and they were looking at me very quietly as if I was being mean to the cleaning lady. I looked at them sheepishly, I smiled and told them that she had been putting clean toilet paper on the floor. They smiled and nodded, but I could still feel them thinking "Oh, how mean of that Kuwaiti lady to talk to that poor woman".
Can you ever win in this country?

I recycle when I'm in Ireland, but I don't when i'm here in kuwait! I don't think the whole concept of global warming has reached the Kuwaiti public. From the look of your papers.. I'm guessing that you're doing medicine? Or something in the health field?

It is quite the same here in the Emirates. We go through all the trouble trying to be NICER than nice when talking to others so people won't think that we're rude, especially that expats enjoy stereo-typing us since we're a minority ! Once I asked the cleaning lady at work to mop the floor dry after she's done washing it because i slipped once on the wet floor, i was so nice, but the reply i got was "if you don't like the way I clean, go to another rest room" !!! in a very RUDE way !!
Looking at the pile of papers I had a feeling you are a medical student....please tell me I'm right?! and that I'm not the only one suffering lol
